Opps, that wasn’t vegan.

For lunch yesterday, I made myself some pasta.

I chalk this one up to me being new at this. I just assumed all MorningStar Farms items were vegan. Not true. This product contains milk and egg ingredients.

Upon further research, it seems this product was vegan at one time. But, Kellogg (they own MorningStar Farms) changed the recipe and started including skim milk and egg whites.

Sad, because these crumbles were pretty good. Ah well, waste not want not. I bought the package, I’ll probably finish it.

I cooked 4 oz of pasta. It ended up being too much, I couldn’t finish it.

Vegan Coffee Creamer

I’m the type of person that finds it really hard to have a good day unless I start out having a cup of coffee with cream.

Previously, I used Publix GreenWise Half & Half.

But, now I’ve been using So Delicious Dairy Free Coconut Milk Creamer.

Honestly, I can’t tell a difference. To me, it tastes just like the half & half did.

Raised debt limit so Obama could have new bus?

Ahhh, Lucile Rogers of Ft. Pierce. I am absolutely loving the op ed you recently penned for TCPalm. Let’s all read it again, shall we?

Did our elected officials really put America in such a mess so our president could buy that bus plus 40 vehicles to try to get re-elected? And he needs the Mexican votes so he obviously ignores the fact our language is English and they will never try to learn it as long as we print things in Spanish for them.

You want all these illegals? Vote for him. Not I. He has discredited the U.S.A. and there are no jobs!

Bring back our human telephone operators. No more push one for Spanish. No more computer voices. A real live person! I hope I live long enough for that.

God bless America. I pray for my great grandchildren and for yours, too. And our homeless, hungry and jobless.

Yes, the newspaper really published this literary masterpiece. And, what else could I do except shake my head and laugh.

Yes, Lucile. Our elected officials really raised our debt limit so Obama could have a new bus. It was for that reason alone.
