Fans of my blog will know I’m a huge fan of Grocery Gaming at CVS. Combining their sales with the ExtraBucks offers and manufacturer coupons makes every trip to CVS a trip worth taking.
So, needless to say, I was wondering why CVS’s ad sucked so hard this week.
Turns out, I’m living in a CVS test market state. Rumor has it that for the next 6 weeks, devout CVSers in Florida and Michigan will be sorely disappointed at the deals to be had at CVS.
Apparently, CVS seems to think everyone in these two states are going blind. While the rest of the country enjoys a CVS ad full of sales and ExtraBucks offers, those of us in Florida and Michigan will be mistreated to a coloring-book style CVS ad with ginormous pictures and text. This week, a crappy deal on Campbell’s Soup on the front cover and a toilet-paper tower on the back with a whole bunch’a nothin’ in between.
