I got an e-mail from the Lyric Theatre in Stuart this morning telling me about a free screening of the new independent film called I.O.U.S.A. on 10/26. So, being the freeloader that I am, I went today at lunch to the box office and got tickets for Tina & me. Apparently, this is a film about the national debt. It might be boring, but we found both Supersize Me and Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room entertaining. So, it may be good. We’re planning on going out for dinner that night too. Maybe we’ll go to a steakhouse or something. Then ice cream at Kilwins – LOVE IT.
I also want to see “W.” That comes out today. Hhhmmm, how can I get free tickets to that?
Also, I f*cking hate blogging from my mobile phone. D*mn the plantation owners and their communist policies!

Well kids, the boss’s boss sends out an e-mail to us today to remind us that our work PCs, e-mail and internet access is to be used for work purposes only and if we use it for any personal purpose, we shall instantly be fired, terminated and sacked, all at the same time (sounds painful). The e-mail even went as far as to say we’d probably not find another job if we were to get the can due to the current economic crisis. Nice, if even a tad unnecessary. So, no more blog updates during office hours (using office equipment, of course) until I figure out a way to do so without violating the draconian and very 1990s policies of the plantation owners who are, apparently, stuck in last century. Poor things. Us young’ins just don’t know how to behave! On the other hand, I do think it was decent of them to collectively warn us before swinging the proverbial ax. Who knows … maybe they even read my blog.
Blogged from my mobile phone – during my lunch break – from my car – which I drove off company property – TYVM.
