Well, my Smart For Life cookies came in yesterday and today, I’m back on the cookie diet. I just ate my first cookie square.

Here’s how the cookie diet is supposed to work …

You get 6 cookie squares a day. Eat one within an hour of waking up. Eat another one every 2 to 3 hours or whenever you feel hungry. At dinner, have 10 to 12 ounces of lean protein (chicken, turkey, fish, shellfish) and up to 5 serviges of vegetables (brocolli, cabbage, mushrooms, spinach, zucchini). Eat your sixth and final cookie square for the day at bed time. Consume 64 ounces of water a day and take a multi-vitamin.

Doing this, I should lose up to 15 lbs in just 4 weeks.

This morning, I weighed 216 lbs. We shall see …

cartman_face_animThe CyberCJH Blog has recently come under fire by a reader named Josh, accusing me of being retarded and biased – both, apparently, at the same time. Quite a feat.

In May of 2008, I posted an entry about a horrific Swanson Hungry Man TV Dinner experience I had.

Now, nearly a year later, renowned microwaveist and food critic Josh has chimed in to voice his opinion on the matter.

Truth be told, I have no idea who Josh is. I’m not even sure if Josh is his real name. In fact, I’m not even sure if he really exists. His IP address shows he came in through a broadband provider called Cox (how very sadly appropriate).

When I was packing my lunch last night, I forgot to include my usual NutriGrain bar for breakfast. Blackberry is my favorite, followed by Cherry, Strawberry, Raspberry and Apple.

So, I went to the vending machine in the lunch room and all they had as far as breakfast foods went were Frosted Strawberry Pop-Tarts. Seeing as I haven’t had a Pop-Tart since I was about 8 years old, I decided to give it a try. Sadly, I can sum up my Pop-Tart experience very succinctly.

Gross.

Well, I’m sure you’ve heard the bad news by now. Today, the Parent company Bennigan’s filed Chapter 7 (liquidation) Bankruptcy.

Immediately upon hearing the news, I got an hankering for a Turkey O’Toole. You know how you always want what you suddenly can’t have? That’s what this was.

So, on the way home, I stopped at Publix, got the ingredients and made my own Turkey O’Toole for dinner. It was delish! Even better than I expected it to be and tasted just like the sandwich you get at Bennigan’s.

The creation of this sandwich is a very complex and delicate procedure. So, please follow this handy guide to ensure no one gets hurt.

Enjoy!
