I sent for the Postage paid envelope and got it in 2 weeks. When I sent it back, besides sending the postcard, I sent a copy of the Paperwork that was on the cover of the pouch inside the plastic cover. It has all the info, ORDER ID - TRACKING ID & RETURN AUTHOURIZATION #. I have been in Customer Service **for too many years**..I know that the more info they have, sometimes the quicker orders get processed.

I got an email 5 days after sending the plug confirming they received it with an Order# with a status "waiting to be shipped". By sending more info back, this may or may not have helped this get processed quickly but who knows.

Just a reminder from the person **on the other end**always give as much info as possible and PRINT CLEARLY PLEASE!!! :-)

handyswitchrecall.com is a SCAM...I submitted about 3 months ago and have yet to recieve my replacement swith. They sent me a pre addressed mailer to send back the faulty adapter, which I did...never have I seen any replacement "remote control" style switch to this day. I originally purchased 4 of these but only submitted for 2 recall switch replacments..since I never recieved my replacment, there is another option to get a plastic cover that will prevent the fire, so I submitted for those as well figuring I would get the 2 for the 2 i did not submit for..and again its been about 1.5 months since then and nothing..this company suggests a recall blah blah blah but its all a sham, they dont even have to give you your $ back or offer a fix..this is perfect example of the goverment not doing their frigging job and policing this type of crime.

My grandson bought me a "HANDY SWITCH" which worked for one day and I didn"s want to tell him, so I went and got another one. Sorry to say that doesn't work either. What should I do to have them checked or replaced.
                                 thank you--Samuel Bach
