It’s been a while since I posted what’s been going on with stuff. So, here’s an update for anyone interested.
- STUPID ME : I left my wallet at Arby’s yesterday. (Yes, I ate at Arby’s but whateva’ because it was Freebie Wednesday.) Luckily, a very nice person named Heather H. found my wallet, I assume saw my license, got my number from 411 and called home to tell Tina she had my wallet. I ran like the dickens over there and was fortunate enough to receive my wallet back completely in tact. So, thank you, Heather H! I have returned cell phones, wallets and drivers licenses I have found in the past. So, I’m glad the good karma came back to me. Now, I need to pass it along again.
- HOUSE : We go to closing tomorrow! The Chinese dry-wall problem turned out to be a non-issue. Yes, our house has some of this drywall, but it appears to be only in the garage. And, no where in the house do we see the signs of corrosion or other problems caused by toxic Chinese dry-wall. Not all dry-wall from China was toxic. I think we got some of the good stuff. So, we feel safe buying the house.
- TINA : Tina goes back to work on Monday. I think this is going to require a big adjustment for both of us.
- EMMA : Emma had some shots yesterday and has been cranky ever since. But, the doctor said that was to be expected. Poor Emma.
- CBAP : I am currently in the process of applying to sit for the CBAP exam. There is one item remaining on my application – a reference from a former manager. (Chop, chop there, buddy. You know who you are!)
- TRIP TO NJ : We’re thinking of going up to NJ to visit friends & family later this year. I’m torn between flying or driving. We’re still deciding.
- TRIP TO CA : We’re also thinking of going to CA to visit Tina’s family sometime next year.
That’s about it for now, I guess.
