cookieI’m thinking of going back on the Cookie Diet.

Christina & I used to go to Dr. Seigal’s office down in Dade county and after that we went to the Smart For Life centers scattered around south Florida.

The idea of eating cookies to lose weight sound stupid, but it works. I was losing about 2-3 lbs a week. It was easy.  And, since there is a Smart for Life center here in PSL, I’m thinking of going back on the cookie diet. I don’t remember why I stopped. Lack of will power, I guess. Klondike Bars. Potato Pancakes. Nachos at Denny’s. Hhhhmmmmm …

I was down to almost 200 lbs at that time a couple of years ago. But now, I’m back up to 215 lbs.  As a result, my BMI is way too high.

BMI Calculation: Weight (lb) / [Height (in)]2 x 703
So, for me : 215 / 5,041 x 703 = 29.98

You’re considered overweight if your BMI is 29.99 or less. At 30, you’re considered obese. As you can see, I’m 2 slices of pizza away from being obese.

I need to reduce down to between 133 and 178 lbs in order to be in the normal BMI range. The average correct weight for someone my height is 155.5 lbs. So, I need to drop about 60 lbs. Based on the results I had previously with this diet, it should take about 20 weeks (about 5 months) to achieve this weight loss. But, we shall see.

Smaller pants that sit atop my closet shelf, still in the plastic, still in the Kohl’s box … Here. I. Come.

Another good diet is the Flat Belly Diet. Food is tasty and you aren’t stuck with the same thing over and over again. I lost 25lbs in about a month.

Good. I have no school til July 6th. I have no idea what to do with myself. Probably going to read alot.

Why don’t you just buy Dr. Siegal’s cookies at his web site http://www.cookiediet.com? He doesn’t require you to go to his offices anymore.

Brenda: Yeah, I guess I could. It would probably end up being cheaper. I’d probably order from smartforlife.com instead of cookiediet.com because their cookies taste better, to me anyway. And, I wouldn’t have to pay for office visits and all that jazz … hhmmm, good suggestion.

you at 133 lbs will look gagross. I think 180 is a good weight for you

I have to agree with Heather. With your build 133 will make you look ill.

Cybercjh: I guess everyone has his own preferences. Here’s a review of Smart for Life I found that appeared in the San Francisco Examiner:

Brenda: Absolutely. The author of that review was probably expecting a Pepperidge Farm type cookie, not a diet cookie.
