I had to share a really good deal I got on Pampers Swaddlers diapers today at CVS.
On cvstoday.com, CVS had posted that they were selling Pampers Jumbo Packs for $8.99. And, for each pack you bought, you’d get $5 Extra Care Bucks (ECB). No limit was posted.
I went to CVS earlier today and bought 3 packs since the shelf sign said limit 3. When my receipt printed, the ECB were not there. So, I showed the manager the print-out and she printed $15 ECB for me.
So, I got 44 Pampers for a net cost $3.99 three times (132 diapers for $11.97). THAT IS CRAZY CHEAP. That’s only 9¢ per diaper. That’s pretty good considering I just paid $17.99 for 66 Pampers Sensitive diapers at Target yesterday – that’s 27¢ a diaper.
After looking into the deal further, it appears this was a mistake made by CVS. The $5 ECB should have not have been posted. But, it was. And, I got the deal.
Made me happy, anyway.
I went to Target yesterday evening. They had several packages of diapers and wipes on clearance.
I got two 192 count packages of Pampers Baby Dry Size 1-2 diapers for $20.28 each (reduced from $30). Combined with two $2 coupons, that’s 384 for $36.56 (9.5¢ a diaper).
And, I got a 504 count box of Huggies Sensitive Baby Wipes for $11.04 (reduced from $13). Combined with a $1 coupon, that works out to be 2¢ a wipe – a pretty darn good deal.
