Back on July 18, 2008, I blogged about the 5 area Starbucks that are going to be closing. Since then, I believe they’ve all been shuttered.

Sadly, it’s been announced that yet another Starbucks in our area will be closing – this one is at Port St. Lucie Blvd. @ Bayshore Blvd. This is the Starbucks in the same shopping center as the FedEx Kinkos, across the street from Winn-Dixie.

This leaves Port St. Lucie with just two Starbucks – St. Lucie West Blvd. @ Peacock Blvd. and inside Target in Tradition. We went from having 4 Starbucks to just 2.

Damn this recession!

I am starting a new blog called the MORNING SCUSI BLOG. I will keep CyberCJH’sBlog as my personal blog. But, my intention is to make MORNING SCUSI a magazine-style blog with features and articles about current events instead of just random posts that my personal blog has turned into. I’d also like to open up the MORNING SCUSI to other people who like to write as a hobby … or maybe even some professional writers, who knows? And one day, when the MORNING SCUSI achieves the fame and notoriety it so truly deserves, we can send a copy to The New Yorker and say, ‘Nah-nah-nah-nah-nah-nahhhh…‘

I had a very strange series of dreams last night probably as a result of the half-a-grapefruit and string cheese I ate right before bed.

The strangest dream I had was … I was a passenger driving down Gatlin Boulevard towards Tradition. I don’t remember who the driver was. Where you’d normally make a left into Home Depot, that was the entrance to a huge mall on a road called Hawthorne Street. After passing under I-95 into Tradition, there was a toll booth and two incredibly high bridges, one for each direction of traffic. I have no idea where they went. We went through the SunPass lane and I saw on the little display we were charged 40¢. I woke up half way up the bridge on the right.
