mattandfaelynn Today, we went to Indian River Park in Jensen Beach for Faelynn’s 5th Birthday party. The weather was nice, but it was a little breezy and cold in the shade. All the kids had fun playing in the fountains and the adults had fun walking on the pier. Definitely a great place for a kid’s birthday party. Good choice, Ash.

Yes, even though it was Faelynn’s birthday, most of the pictures are of Aireana. I forget which kid we were there for. LOL! :-)

OK. First of all, I’m still sick and I feel like crap. Now that that’s out of the way …

Check out this article over at the New York Times. It’s very interesting because what is happening to our country’s economy now is pretty much the same thing to what happened to Japan’s economy in the 1990’s. And, they’ve never fully recovered.

cutcostsI had this one under consideration. I think it’s a good idea and I’m moving forward with it.

  • Web Hosting Downgrade : Over the years, my web hosting and design company has dwindled down to just one paying customer. The rest of my customers are family and friends to whom I provide free space for their blogs and websites. Downgrading means everyone will lose cPanel access and will have to rely on me to make certain changes to their hosting accounts. And, it involves a little bit of leg work like nameserver changes, but that’s a small price to pay for the savings. Annual Savings : $120.

Update 02/20/09: After a little more sleuthing, I determined additional savings could be realized by downgrading even further the web hosting downgrade. This bumps the annual savings up an additional $5/moAnnual Savings : $180.

Running tally : $2,276.
