Grrrrr … I ordered two shelves from kmart.com for our garage. They were having a special where if you spent at least $20.08 (since 2008 was over, I guess), you’d get free shipping.

So, I ordered two Suncast Storage Trends Utility Base Cabinets – model C3600G. But, Kmart shipped me model C3600K which is a cheaper version of the C3600G as it only includes one shelf instead of two and it looks to be made from cheaper plastic.

I called them and they’re taking them back and refunding me my money.

What a pain in the as*. Two bad experiences in two days … one at Walmart and one at Kmart. I need to just stick with Target.

Jesus F*cking Christ … WTF is wrong with the trolls behind kmart.com?!

• 1/7/09 - I call 1-866-KMART-4U and they offer to send call tags for UPS to come and pick up the boxes within 3 to 5 days.
• 1/12/09 – No one has come to pick up the boxes. I call 1-866-KMART-4U. Again. They will request call tags. Again.
• 1/15/09- Still, no one has come to pick up the boxes. I call 1-866-KMART-4U. Again. They will request call tags. Again. For the third time. I also send an e-mail to kmart.com. They also promise that UPS will come to pick up the boxes within 3 to 5 days.
• 1/18/09 – Received automated call from UPS that someone would be out to pick up the boxes on 1/19/09.
• 1/19/09 – No one came to pick up the boxes.
• 1/20/09 - Hooray! UPS came, but they took one of the two boxes because they said the call tag indicated only one box was being returned. I e-mail kmart.com. Again. Kmart.com says they’ll re-request a call tag for the second box. This is the fourth call tag they’ve issued for this box. 
• 1/21/09 - Still waiting for someone to come pick up that second box.
• 1/22/09 – Received automated call from UPS at 8:45am telling me that that someone would be out to pick up the other box today between 8am and 7pm. Someone did come and pick up the other box.
• About 10 days later, kmart.com finally refunds my credit card after re-threatening them with a charge back via e-mail.

If you going to do business with these clowns, think twice.
