Tina and I Grocery Gamed tonight.
- First stop, Publix. They had several BOGO Free sales we took advantage of.
$43.18 – $21.33 Advertised Savings – $14.77 Coupons = $7.08 (saved 83%) - Next stop, CVS. All we bought here was Cheerios. Ha!
$26.74 – $11.74 Advertised Savings – $14.10 Coupons = 90¢ (saved 96%) - And then, on to Walgreens. They had Gortons frozen seafood on sale as well as BIC pens and pencils.
$56.07 – $35.48 Advertised Savings – $5.85 Coupons = $14.74 (saved 73%) - And finally, Winn Dixie. We bought some meats, Doritos and a few other things.
$55.91 – $28.08 Advertised Savings – $11.48 Coupons = $16.35 (saved 70%)
And then, I had a Southern Style Chicken Sandwich from McDonalds for dinner. It was good – especially dipped in the hot mustard sauce.
Tina had a double cheeseburger because, “it’s only one dollar!”

August 12th, 2008 at 7:05 amI love me some southern style chicken sandwich. It is as good as ChickFilA’s chicken sandwich. Sucks it cost like $3 but it is worth it.
